Chinese New Year 2008

What is happening here during Chinese New Year? the year of the rat! of all the animals there is a year of the rat! well... all CNY is the same for me! its just about food all the way! and always during this time of the year i sure will gain a couple more weight! haha...

went back to Bentong on the eve of CNY and have the reunion dinner in bentong! and this is the first time i think i have it in bentong with my grandparents and my uncles and aunty here...

Next morning went to church for a CNY firstday service.. this is the first time i joined the service cause most of the time during chinese new year i go back bentong in the afternoon on the first day or second day only go back!

The Church was very nice decorated! very CNY feel!

after Church.. went back to prepare for the arrival of visitors to visit my grandparents.. as well as getting angpows! haha... in the afternoon went to visit my grand uncles and aunties around bentong! very fast evening comes and it is time for dinner again!

Another Lou Sang! since i go back to Bentong for 3 nights in a row... there is Lou Sang! and always dinner sure eat and keep eating! Chinese new year is about food!

After about 3 days in Pahang... finally go back to subang! and more visits! and time to visit my babysitter who babysit me when i was young! haha,... and another dinner followed! and another lou sang again! this time my babysitter's son buy us.. me and my family to a high class restaurant! in PJ.

This is an expensive set meal for CNY! it costs RM1388 for this meal! really i rather buy a handphone then eating it! lol!

This year's CNY is a rush! there are a lot of relatives and friends to visit! and when angpow is given there is always a same question that follows! so its not easy to get the angpows this time!

A trip to Port Dickson

last thursday 10th January was a public holiday for malaysia.. and the oppurtunity arises when Kelly messaged me on the last week of December 07 and ask to go to PD just to relax and enjoy!
well.. woke up early on thursday and prepare myself for a drive to PD with Kelly and Joshua who a wil be going with me... left Subang about 8.30am and reached PD about 10am.. i used another road to PD.. via KLIA and Sepang.. before long.. i find myself driving on the road of Lukut.. and i found it nearer..

so when we reached to the beach... straigth away we went into the water... i went in deeper and kelly was afraid to come in close why?? find out for yourself! lol.

so what else did we do at the beach?

Since she is playing there... Jos and i help along!!

After lunch at KFC.. which is freaking cold.. cause we went in for lunch with wet cloths.. yes! wet.. i guess u can imagine why it was wet!! went for a walk at the nearby shopping complex.. which is the one and only shopping complex in PD.. like what Kelly say.. what do the people in PD do with only one shopping mall? well... we just walk around... after that we went back to a nearby beach! taking pictures and catching crabs!

So had a good time there... just playing, relaxing and taking pictures! left PD at about 5pm and reached home about 7pm! was so sleepy after that.. i went straigth to bed after shower! haha....

Friday... 4 days more till christmas.. what is CHRISTMAS?

Whoa... i can't believe it.. there goes another year! time really flies by fast! now i'm already working for DiGi for 3 years already and the next year is my 4th..

i'm already in my holiday mood now...did not really work today.. just complete some report and get my event budget for 2008.. send it to my manager.. and just waited for the meeting (that last about two and a half hours) killing... mostly talked about the things that need to be done next year! sigh.. came back straight after the meeting is over... get a shower and guess what next? i went to sleep.. :P i do not know why am i so tired afterall all i do today is just meeting and in front of my notebook the wholeday!

At last, i fixed my sister's computer, brought it down and set it up! and its WORKING... wakakaka... now the total of computers i have at home is.. 4 PC and i think there is 2 notebooks! i can set up a network and play.. Tower Defence! haha...

Christmas is so near and i haven't get any Christmas gifts.. maybe i'll be going this sunday for shopping! but.. to think about it.. i think the shopping complexes will be swarming with people doing their year end shopping rush! just like the time i went to Mid Valley... so 1 lesson that i learned.. is that i should shop before the holiday / shopping season! *note to self*

there will be a lot to do during this week end! prepare for sunday! prepare for youth christmas party! prepare for christmas worship... and the dinner! i got myself so occupied u hardly have time to go shopping!

so what does Christmas mean to me? is it just getting occupied during the holidays? shopping? with all the decorations up.. carols and christmas song being played in shopping complexes.. people going for the shopping rush.. sales in every shop!.. and CHRISTMAS IS HERE!! no doubt that's what christmas means to a lot of people! and the true meaning of Christmas has been removed from the world! no one cares about the meaning about Christmas and just get along with everyone in the Christmas Rush.. i asked myself regarding of this matter one day.. i tought about it.. and i realized that every other festival people know what they are celebrating for.. but when it comes to Christmas or even Easter its corrupted by other symbols and the world does not look at the true reason of this festival!

Wake up! and remember why we celebrate.. Christmas is about HOPE, PEACE and JOY God gift to all man by sending His only Son to Die for our sins. this is the true meaning of christmas to remember what God have done for all mankind!

Another Holiday in December...

20th December

now here is another holiday in December.. the Hari Raya Haji!

was out the whole day today! went to Church for practice in the morning.. then!

went to The GARDEN in midvalley with CC.. to my suprise! the federal was very smooth during holiday.. most people went back to their Kampong! but there are alot of people in MidValley.. the Garden is a POSH shopping complex..

once we arrived.. we saw this.. GSC signature.. so on the spot wen buy the ticket for 'I AM LEGEND' abd the ticket cost RM20... and thats expensive!!! but...

After show.. we walked around Garden and MidValley! I brought Ping Pong Balls... hahaha... went eat sushi king there and continue walk.. and went to Starbucks.. for a drink!

after that went back to Taipan dinner in Uno Pizza with KY and YC..

leasure and Youth PLanning!

11th - 14th December

its a great time for some leasure! cause 11th is a selangor holiday and i took my last days of leave the same time!

the youth planning is on the 12th - 14th in PD and since 11th is a holiday why not go there earlier just to have some leasure! so i decided last minute to go! drag Steven with me to accompany me... i did not know that the place where we going to have planning was already fully booked and i've not reserve a room for myself! so on tuesday itself i was searching for a hotel! so finally i got one and reserved it... reached PD about 1pm... checked in to the room and went out hunting for food! hehe... not really know where to eat cause the PD town is kinda small! went shopping at THE STORE in PD... and reach back to the hotel.. we slept till about 5.30 pm... nice sleep also.. haha.. went for a swim.. walked around the resort! and decided want to tryout the buffet dinner in the resort.. the price the hotel is charging not worth.. so i went to Lukut for dinner... after that steven and i went to the beach sat down and just relax and chat until 12pm! keng leh! din know i can chat until so late... some more with a guy! :P

the next day meet up with the committee and pastor at Bayu Beach.. couldn't check in that time cause is still fully occupied and people have not check out.. so we went nearby at a bazaar for a walk! and pastor and the rest spend nearly 1 hour bargaining for some spongebob t-shirt! haiz...

after lunch went back to the hotel.. still no room! waited at the lobby until some of us fell asleep and the rest went to the beach to get some photos!

Update!!

Its been quite a while since i updated my blog! work is heavy cause its the year end for 2007... been very busy lately with DiGi and Church preparing for Christmas!

so what have i been doing? hmm... hard to recall since i so long did not update the blog!

something interesting happen on the month of November! went out with Gina to a performance by a famous acapella group from Australia.. it is a nice time i had when we travel in the traffic jam to the Alexis bistro!

We've got a table right in front of the stage! but sometimes i got blocked by heads and i cannot see...

At last... Regina was complaining why there are no picture of she and i.. so now we have one!

And there was a picture taken with Kelly and Regina.. :P

so what next? in the month of november i was busy prepaing for the Annual Mission Trip for the church!

it was different this time the mission trip! everyone is tired... went from village after another.. and i was the driver.. i was so tired.. i nearly fell asleep behind the wheel.. nearly bang into a person on bicycle on the way back to Amin farm.

As usual.. i'm one of the guitarist there... the other guitarist wan Uncle Steven!

I was asked to give out the presents for the childrens! there...
